At Teen Launch Academy, we’ve used a ton of different resources. From bookkeeping software and services to mailing list software to payment processors. Here’s a list of our favorites that are free or low-cost for young entrepreneurs. *Some of these links are affiliate links and we may earn a small amount if you join using our links.
WordPress – This is by far the most popular (and in our opinion) easiest way to get your business online. With a self hosted option for the more technically skilled teens to the full hosted version, it’s easy and affordable (it’s FREE!).
Canva – Canva is heaven sent if you are not graphically gifted. It’s a great website where you can design many types of graphics. Facebook covers, posters and flyers all at a few clicks of the mouse. You can get away with using the service for free, but if you have the money to spend, it’s still really affordable.
Ted Talks – If you love learning from others, Ted Talks is the most ah-mazing resource!
MailChimp – Mailchimp is the mailing list software we use here at TLA. It’s affordable (prices start at FREE) and so easy to set up a basic mailing list. We ♥ Mailchimp.
Dropbox – Dropbox is a cloud-based file storage. Create a free Dropbox account, upload some files and you can access those files on the web from any device. But it’s really so much more than a file storage solution. You can easily share files with others..
